Repetto 8th grade Physical Science
This year you will be learning about Physical Science. It consists of three components, Astronomy, Chemistry and Physics. Science is taught by using strategies such as higher order thinking, labs, and inquiry based learning.
You will learn how to formulate thoughtful questions and learn from your investigations.

Assignments
Class assignments are to be worked on in class. Any unfinished work will be completed at home as homework. Due dates MUST be adhered to. It is highly recommended that students speak with me if they need more time on a particular assignment.
Projects/Labs
Students will be given plenty of time to plan and complete their projects. Some projects will be done in teams and others individually. Labs are 30% of students grades and must be completed thoroughly.
Homework
Homework is due the next day unless otherwise specified. Absent students will be given the amount of days they are absent to turn in their work.
